Mrs. Spence Dies, Actor Mitchum's Mother-in-Law
DOVER - Mrs. Ina C. Spence, 82, of 45 S. Bradford St., Dover, died Monday at Cortland Manor Nursing Home, Dover, after a long illness.
Mrs. Spence was a lifelong resident of the Dover area.
Her husband, William L. Spence, died in 1945.
She is survived by a son, W. Lloyd of Camden; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Mitchum, wife of the movie actor, and Mrs. John Compton, both of Los Angeles; four brothers, W. Denney and Andy B. Clements, both of Dover, Leland Clements of Oaklyn, N.J., and Thomas O. Clements of Woodside; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Peters, of Norristown, Pa.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
