Mr. Grahl of Coldwater, Mich., was a retired ergonomic furniture maker who raised horses. He died in the plane crash when his Mooney M-20 aircraft went down minutes after he reported engine trouble to the Federal Aviation Administration's Indianapolis Center. The plane apparently was taking on ice. Grahl was en route from Coldwater to Raleigh, N.C.
