Julian A.K. “Tank” Ornellas, 64, also known as “Moose,” of Ewa Beach, senior vice commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 1, died Friday in Honolulu. He was also a management executive for Keehi Lagoon Memorial Management Committee and worked in the Hawaii travel industry. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Julie; daughters Caroline Meyar and Christina Ornellas; sister Bernice K., and three grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, Mott Smith Drive; call from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial: National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire.
