William Richard (Dick) Seibold, Jr., 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died October 13, 2007. Dr. Seibold was born in Memphis, TN on August 11, 1926, and spent his childhood in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. He was a graduate of Gulf Coast Military Academy, the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, and the University of Arkansas School of Medicine in Little Rock. Dr. Seibold was board certified in both Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, and had been a member of the Wadley Regional Hospital Staff since moving to Texarkana in 1962. He was appointed Chief of Staff of Wadley, served as secretary-treasurer of the Arkansas Radiological Society and was a clinical assistant professor of Radiology at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA before retiring in 1992. He was a member of the American Medical Association, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Association of Physicians in Nuclear Medicine, both the Texas and Arkansas Radiological Societies and the Bowie County Medical Society. He was also awarded a Fellowship in the American College of Radiology. He is survived by his wife of 55 years; 2 sons; 1 grandson, and 1 granddaughter. Graveside Services will be at 12 noon on Tuesday October 16 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Texarkana, Texas. A memorial service will follow at 1 P.M. at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Boulevard with Rev?s Charles Settle and Ryan Rush officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 P.M. Monday October 15th at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Boulevard. Those wishing to memorialize Dr. Seibold may make contributions to First United Methodist Church- Arkansas, 400 East 6th Street or the Charity of their choice. The family will be at 7 Northridge Circle, Texarkana, Texas 75503.
