Kleweno, Marion

Marion Jobe Kleweno, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Marion was born in Alexandria, MN on October 18, 1915 to Rudolph and Emma Jobe. She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Marion attended the St. Cloud Teacher's College.

In 1935 Marion was united in marriage to Victor Kleweno of Leaf Valley Township, MN. Marion and Victor lived in several states, including Alaska, before settling in Bloomington, MN to raise their family.

Marion worked in retail. For many years she was a great help to Victor at the Kleweno Hearing Aid Service. Marion loved her family and her Lord. She and Victor celebrated almost seventy years of marriage before his passing in 2005.

She leaves behind her daughters, Denise Eckstein and husband, Dr. Paul Eckstein, of Colorado Springs, CO and Vicki Derrer of Matthews, NC; her grandson, Ian Derrer of Evanston, IL, her granddaughter, Marit Weikel and husband, Thomas, of Hillsborough, NC; and one great grandson, Jack Weikel.

Marion's family wishes to thank the loving and devoted staff at Knute Nelson for their excellent care.

A graveside service will be held 3 PM, Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Kinkead Cemetery in Alexandria. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Zion Lutheran Church School.
