Arnold was born in Richfield Wi. and is one 13 children. He married Margartha Hafner on May 13, 1873 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in the township of Franklin, Wisconsin. Witnesses were Johannes Hafner and Catherine Hafner. Margaretha's parents. They had 9 children and moved around Wisconsin. They lived in Milwaukee, Janesville, West Bend, Menasha for a few years. Then he ended up back in Milwaukee. He was a Cooper and made barrels for the breweries or a cabinet maker. He liked to play the Banjo. The last known address was 2517 North 33rd Street in Milwaukee. When he lived in Milwaukee he worked for Schlitz Brewery making Barrels. Arnold died of pneumonia and is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Milwaukee. The graves are unmarked.
The house on 33rd and North became Arnold's daughter Margaret's after going through Probate since Arnold didn't
have a Will. Margaret died in 1935. Her husband live in the
house until 1970 when he died. The house was sold and in 2000 the house was owned by the city of Milwaukee and it burned in a kitchen fire because someone fell asleep.
