Wanda Rose Wiley Wampler, 93, of Bloomington, died Sunday, December 8, 2013 in Bethany Village Nursing Home in Indianapolis. She was born March 20, 1920 in Bloomington to Charles Austin Wiley and Myrtle Marie Blair Wiley. Wanda was a Presser for nearly 40 years at Modern Cleaners, and was member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Eagle's Lodge.

Survivors include a daughter, Alice Marie Gismondi of Connersville, PA; two sons, Basil Hagan and Donald Hawkins both of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Edward Wampler; a son, Drexel Jack Wiley; two sisters, Ethel Parker and Edith Wiley; and a brother, Charles Roy Wiley.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in Day Funeral Home, 4150 East Third Street, with Pastor Earl Piper officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Private burial will take place in Valhalla Memory Gardens. If friends so desire, Memorial Contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association , 50 E 91st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209.
