John Kleber, 86, Dies At Home After A Stroke
John Kleber, 86 years old, a resident of Webster county the last forty-nine years, was found dead Saturday afternoon at his home, 1829 Second avenue south.
A stroke caused his death, aqccording to Dr. O, N. Glesne, Webster county coroner. The body was found on the floor by relatives who called at the home with food for the evening meal, but it was believed death had arrived a number of hours before, Dr. Glesne said. No inquest will be held.
Mr. Kleber is survived by his widow, two children, F. J. Kleber and Mrs, Charles Picley; two brothers and two sisters, Joseph Kleber and Mrs. Mathew Cerwick, both of Fort Dodge; and B. G. Kleber and Miss Sophia Kleber, who live in Germany, Mr. Kleber’s birthplace.
Mr. Kleber also leaves one nephew, Francis Collins, of Fort Dodge.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from Laufersweiler’s Funeral parlors and at 9 o’clock from Sacred Heart church, with the Rev. C. P. Sweeney officiating.
Burial will be made in Corpus Christi cemetery.
