William DaCosta Holt, M.D., age 78, a four year resident of Austin, formerly of Vernon, Texas passed away November 9, 1997. He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 24, 1919. He served in World War II in the Army Medical Corp. He attended and graduated from the University of Texas (Austin) in 1946 and went on to attend the University of Texas Medical School Branch in Galveston where he graduated in 1951. He served his internship at Permanente Foundation Hospital in Oakland, California. He became a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Practice and the Texas Medical Association. Graveside services were held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 1997 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Austin, Texas, with Reverend Linda Pendergrass officiating.
