MOORE, Barbara A. (Hill), 80, of Marshall Circle, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to Clarence M. Moore.
Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Osborne) Hill.
Barbara was the Vice President of Moore’s Garage in Coventry and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She had a way of making everyone feel special.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Michael A. Moore and his fiancé Susan of Coventry; a brother, Daniel E. Hill of Florida. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Maryjon Large Moore, her sons Marshal, Cody and Scott, of Huntsville, Alabama; and Michael's children; Jason and Sean and daughter Torie. Barbara was the great-grandmother of four. She was the mother of the late Steven D. Moore and sister of the late Julia Eick and Marjorie Bagshaw
Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Steven D. Moore Scholarship Fund, c/o Coventry High School Alumni Association Inc., P O Box 705, Coventry, RI 02816 would be appreciated.
