MARIE B. TAYLOR, age 95, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at Boulevard Hills Nursing Home, in Rochester Hills. She was born Marie F. Barel, on May 19, 1911, in Detroit, to Walter and Marie (Wider) Barel.Mrs. Taylor loved her family, and she was also very active at Our Saviour Lutheran Church (Detroit) until the time of the church's closing. She was a member of both the choir and Matin Singers. She was the matriarch of the family, who benefited by her spirituality, devotion to her family and great sense of humor.Upon suffering a stroke on July 2, Marie was hospitalized for a week and was then taken to Boulevard Hills Nursing Home, where she died peacefully in her sleep, shortly after her daughter, Leslie, left her side.She will be missed by her loving family and will remain in our hearts forever.Deceased Spouse: the late Lloyd Taylor, deceased in 1981Surviving Daughter: Leslie Schemm (Rev.
