Paul Octave Bonneau, son of Abraham Bonneau and Marie Chamberland, was born and baptized on 22 Aug 1850 at Saint Isidore, Dorchester, Québec, Canada. He married Anne Boyer, daughter of James Boyer and Elizabeth Gordon, on 3 Sep 1878 at Sainte Croix, Lafontaine, Simcoe, Ontario. Octave was widowed in 1882. His second marriage was to Marie Louise Lesperance, daughter of Hyacinthe Lesperance and Flore Pinard. Octave died at the age of 59 and was interred in the parish cemetery of Sainte Croix on 30 May 1910.
