She was preceded in death by siblings Maurine, Noel Elma, Garland, and Kent. She is survived by her younger sister, Nadine.
She married Daren T. Tueller of Geneva on May 27, 1953 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they have three children, Lon Tonks (Lucy) of Geneva, Rao Daren (Julie) of Smithfield, and Renee Tueller of Orem, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
After graduating from high school, Lois attended nursing school at LDS Hospital in Idaho Falls. She used her skills as a nurse to work in a variety of places over the years as well as to attend family, neighbors and friends. Caring for others, not only medically, but temporally and spiritually was one of her marked traits.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. Her most beloved were serving in the Logan Temple as a worker and the mission she served with Daren in Nauvoo, Illinois.
The family wishes to give thanks to the wonderful nurses, f physicians and staff at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility who lovingly cared for our mother the past three and a half years. Your love and service has touched our hearts deeply and we will be forever grateful.
Funeral services were June 18 in Geneva.
The burial was in the Geneva Cemetery under the direction of Matthews Mortuary.
The family suggests that donations be made to the Bear Lake Health Care Foundation.
