Allie R. Frost McCoy, 78, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017, in East Bank Center. She was born October 14, 1938, in Leicester, North Carolina, the daughter of Leroy and Mary (Messers) Meadows.
Allie married George Frost on September 14, 1956. He predeceased her in 1975. She later married Steve McCoy.
Allie always enjoyed meeting new people. She was very social and would always invite you in for a cup of coffee and good conversation. In her free time, she enjoyed going to garage sales, thrift shops, flowers and gardening.
She is survived by: her children, Jack, Janice Bennett, Terry (Susan), Mark Frost, and Connie McCoy; grandchildren, Stacy, Nick, Carley, Jacob, Luke, James, Rebecca, and Andrew; great granddaughter, Zoey; brothers, Charlie and Clint.
She was predeceased by: parents; first husband; son, George; sisters, Faye and Mamie; and brothers, Dennis and Walter.
