Lloyd Allen Hill, eldest son of Charlie and Judy Hill of Fairbridge, passed away on January 29, 1985.
Lloyd was born in the Cowichan District Hospital on May 31, 1969. He attended Koksilah and Cowichan Station Elementary Schools and grades 8, 9 and 10 at Shawnigan Lake Boys School, which he loved.
He was an excellent student and was always involved in sports having played baseball in Duncan before attending Shawnigan, where he was on the rugby, track and rowing teams. He was also a promising artist.
Besides his parents, Lloyd will be greatly missed by brothers Paul and Ryan, his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hill of Koksilah and Mr. and Mrs. Braithwaite of Port Alberni, his great-grandfather Mr. George Braithwaite of Cobble Hill, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Service will be held in Shawnigan Lake Boys School Chapel on Friday, February 1, 1985 at 1pm. Rev. H. McClelland officiating. Interment at St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Cobble Hill, B.C.
