Born at Chicksands Priory, Bedfordshire, 8th Jan. 1851, the 4th daughter of Sir George Robert Osborn and his wife Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Kerr., daughter of Lord Mark Kerr & his wife Charlotte (McDonnell), Countess of Antrim.
She edited the letters of her ancestress, Hon. Sarah (Byng) Osborn, "Political & Social Letters of a Lady of the 18th Century." She is also said to have assisted Judge Edward Parry in the editing of Dorothy Osborne's letters to Sir William Temple.
She married Hon. Mark Henry Horace McDonnell (her first cousin), son of Lord Mark Kerr, 5th Earl of Antrim, at Old Warden Church, Bedfordshire,
She died at her home, 24 Brunswick Place, Hove.
