Charles Jenne III, 69, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019. Charlie was born on April 14, 1950 in Louisville to F. Charles Jenne, Jr. and Madeleine Frenke Jenne. Charlie is a Catholic by faith; being a member at St. Margaret Mary Church. During his younger years he was active in the Boy Scouts. Charlie graduated from Trinity High School and then went on to graduate from Bellarmine College. Charlie was known as a hard worker; starting his career at Standard Oil and then retiring from Humana. He enjoyed spending time in his garage and working in the yard. He was an accomplished man, and he will be remembered as a loving family man, who was always willing to give and help others. He was preceded in death by his father, F. Charles Jenne Jr. and his brother, Pete Jenne. Charlie’s legacy will live on through his wife of 42 years, Sandy Jenne; children, Dody Searcy (Larry), Katie Snyder (Troy) and Patrick Jenne. He was a proud Grandpa to Austin, Hunter and Colton. He is survived by his mother, Madeleine Jenne; siblings, Jan Woock, Mike Jenne, Matt Jenne, Susi Cullen, Toni Durso and Mark Jenne. A memorial visitation will be held from 11am-2pm with a memorial service beginning at 2pm on Friday, May 24th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. There will be a private burial taking place in Resthaven Memorial Park. I
