Louise H. Cocanougher
Louise Hughes Cocanougher, 86, of Maple Avenue died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Sept. 10, 1913, in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Thompson and Argine Gibson Hughes. She was the widow of H.M. "Bill" Cocanougher. She was a retired assistant chief operator for South Central Bell Telephone Co. and a member of First Baptist Church, Broadway. Survivors include her sister, Elizabeth Caldwell of Danville. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Revs. Albert Gisler and Dan McGib-bon. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James, John, Bill and Lori Erwin, and Kevin and Stephen Withers. Honorary pallbearers are Kelly, Bob, Denny, John and Jimmie Cocanougher. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
