Janis; loving mother of Deborah Garoutte and Jeffrey Janis; proud grandmother of Katharine, Megan and Eric; dear sister of the late Paschal Wauters; fond sister-in-law of Bernice Wauters and Kenneth (Carol) Janis; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews; cherished friend of Audre McGinnis, Barbara Annis and Louise Peters.

Retired employee of Madigan's. Dedicated volunteer of the Resurrection Hospital Gift Shop.

Visitation Tuesday 3 to 9 p.m. at the M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. Funeral Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. prayers at funeral home, to St. Paul of the Cross Church, Washington and Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
