Ronald Thomas Bernick Sr., age 78, of Castle Shannon, formerly of Northside, passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends on February 1st, 2020.
Beloved husband (43 years) of the late Elnora "Sis" (Blatz) Bernick; loving father of Fred, Ron (Kristy), Nick (Sandy) and Tom (Renee) Bernick. Loving companion and friend of Mary Jane Mackay. Proud grandfather of Sean Bernick and Tori Homza; great-grandfather of Keegan. Cherished brother of Paul and Sylvia, preceded in death by Marie, Richard "Sonny", Ray, Henry "Hank", and Pat. Son of the late Stephen Henry and Marie (Cavanaugh) Bernick. Proud Army Veteran, Retired Steel worker, and loved woodworking in his spare time.
Visitation will be Thursday February 6th, 2020 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills 15236. A Funeral Service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Chapel on Friday February 7th, 2020 at 12 Noon followed by an Interment at Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
