Marilyn Gann Harris, 80, died Saturday, July 5, 2014. Born in Trinity TX to Brice Gann and Jimmie Edwards Gann. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William Harris, son Maury Harris, daughter Lynn Kitzmiller and husband Peter; grandchildren; Lauren, Michael and Taylor Kitzmiller and many relatives and dear friends. Marilyn graduated from the University of Texas with a BA degree and began her teaching career at Jefferson High School continuing at Ursuline Academy. After obtaining a Masters Degree at University of Incarnate Word she was the Librarian at West Avenue and Oak Grove Elementary schools. Using her library skills she co chaired the development of the outstanding library at Sunset Ridge Church of Christ. She was dedicated to her church- as a founding member, teaching Sunday School and leading Ladies Bible Studies. She was active in her sorority Delta Gamma. She always did everything with style and grace combined with a unique sense of humor. Memorial Services were held July 12 at Sunset Ridge Church Of Christ.
