Mother of Cheeseekau, Tecumseh and Tenskwatawa. Her husband was Puckshinwa of the Shawnee. Methotaske was likely a Muscogee and Turtle Clan. She ended up with the Pekowi band of Shawnee who lived in Muscogee country. She may have had connections with Savannah Town of the Overhill Towns of the Cherokee for Oconastota's family had Shawnee connections. His sister married a Shawnee and Savanucca was her child. In 1779, Methotaske moved west with the Kispoko band in Kokomo Indiana.
