Kandace Lea Krouse, 16, died Saturday, morning in a traffic accident west of Oglesby.
Kandace was born in Statesville, North Carolina and raised in Oglesby area. She was a junior at the Caney Valley High School and was taking pre-engineering classes at Tri County Tech in Bartlesville. She was a member of the Happy Hill Church and the Bartlesville Roundup Club where she was an accomplished barrel racer.
Survivors are her parents, H.C. & Alberta Pugh and Michael Edward Krause; one half-brother, Adam Hughett; one sister, Kelsie Lynn Krause; and her maternal grandmother, Ingelore Jones.
