Mary Owens Eccleston, Bucknell Graduate, Dies
Mrs. Mary Owens Eccleston, a graduate of Bucknell University, died Monday at Plainfield, N.J.
She is survived by five daughters and six grandchildren, all of whom reside in or near Plainfield, and by two brothers, Everett G. Owens of Jeffersonville, O., and Dr. William G. Owens of Lewisburg, for many years a member of the faculty of Bucknell University until his retirement.
Mrs. Eccelston was a member of the class of 1894 at Bucknell Institute and was graduated from Bucknell University in 1897. She married John C. Eccleston, member of the class of 1887. A short time later they went with his mother to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where Mrs. Eccleston taught in kindergarten.
Mr. Eccleston died in 1923.
