Doug graduated from Canton High School and married his high school sweetheart Barb (Olseth) on August 4, 1978. Doug worked for Bierschbach Equipment and Supply for 30 years, serving most recently as branch manager in Sioux City. Along with his wife, Doug raised three children and shared his hobbies with them. His tender heart and warm personality were the perfect fit for welcoming six grandchildren into the family. He is survived by his wife Barb; children Jesse (Steph), Robin (Adam) Anderson, and Calvin (Allison); grandchildren Taylor, Jase, Bridger, Brooks, Thea, and Camden; siblings Jeff (Dawn) Kroger, Alan Kroger, and Paulette (Doug) Olseth; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
