Eric was the light and laughter in his loved one's lives. He is and always will be in our thoughts with so many fond memories. Eric is gone, from this earth; He was taken from us way too young, yet he will not ever be forgotten and lives on in his 5 amazing and beautiful children, all of which you feel as if you are looking at him, when you look into their piercing blue eyes that they got from their Da-Da. One thing is for certain, He will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.
Eric married in 2010, Separated in early 2014, and finalized the divorce in 2017. They shared 4 children together; 3 sons and a daughter. In late 2014, He reconnected and pursued a relationship with his teenage love, planned to marry her, he loved her 3 sons , as his own.
They had 1 child together, a daughter. Eric died, unexpectedly, at the young age of 31; just 1 month and 1 week before his 32nd Birthday.

Eric Logan Day died unexpectedly on April 3, 2019 at the age of 31 while at his workplace in Fenton, MO. Visitation was held from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO, on Monday, April 8th, with a short service following at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Reverend Les Collins, Eric's Great-Uncle.
Eric was born on May 10, 1987 in Kansas City, MO, to Jeff Day and Bonnie (nee Jones) Miller. He lived most of his life in the Kansas City area and attended Truman High School in Independence, MO. Eric later moved to Fenton, MO and then to Imperial, MO, when he reconnected with his teenage love. He worked as a forklift driver at DAP Products Inc.. He enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs, the Chicago Bears, and the Kansas City Royals, drawing, dancing and performing, cooking, and spending time with his children.
Eric had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a room. He was quite the comedian and loved to make people laugh. Eric was truly a family man and forever will be his "Granny's Boy". His mother is thankful for the relationship they shared and the 5 precious grandchildren he gave her. Eric will be loved and missed dearly by his family and friends. His favorite quote from Grandpa Collins was, "It's not the death I fear, but the loved ones I leave behind.
Eric is survived by his mother Bonnie Miller, stepfather Rick Miller, father Jeff Day,
loving companion Tia St. Clair; and his precious children: Cameron Timothy (10), Logan McKayla (8), Jaxon Richard (6), and Colin James (4), Lela Marie.Day (1); grandparents: Richard and Beverly Ross, and Jim and Jolynn Day; half-siblings, Devin and Autumn Day; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Gary Jones, and his great-grandparents, and and close cousin; Timothy Owens.
