DeQuan Malek Paris, 24, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

He attended Howard High School and was formerly employed by G-Stamp.

DeQuan was preceded in death by his mother, Amanda Paris; and grandfather, Spencer Gay, Sr.

Survivors include his daughters, Armyia Paris and Jakiya Paris; father, Spencer (Latasha) Gay, Jr.; grandparents, Rose McKelvin and John Paris, Sr.; brothers, Xavier Clay, brother who deceased with him, Larome Ridley, Jason Paris, and John Paris; uncle, Demarcus Bailey; aunt, Ametrius Smith, all of Chattanooga; a host of uncles; aunts; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.

DeQuan will lie in state on Saturday, May 22, from 9-11 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.

A family service will follow at 1 p.m. at Olivet Baptist Church with Spencer Gay, Jr. giving words of comfort and Pastor Floyd Whiteside as the eulogist.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
