Brian David Leers, age 37, of Dallas, Texas suddenly passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Brian was born November 16, 1983 in Dallas, Texas to David Leers and Michele (McClaskey) Leers. Brian was a Baylor University alumni, a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, and he enjoyed watching all sports. He loved his pets and video games, especially World of Warcraft where he met his wife, Lizabeth.
Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Brett Leers; grandmother and grandfather, Linda Barksdale and Donald McClaskey; and grandfather, David A. Leers. He was survived by his wife, Lizabeth Leers; parents, David and Michele Leers; sister, Alicia Leers; in-laws, Stacey and Robert Lopez, and brother-in-law Matthew Lopez; grandmother Myla Leers; grandfather David Barksdale; uncles, Michael McClaskey, Michael Leers, David Barksdale, Jr., and Bryan Barksdale; aunts, Deb Pelt, Melissa Gossman, and Jody Leers; and many cousins, family, and friends.
A visitation for Brian will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052.
