Tribute: Reiny Buxbaum was born in Bayard, Nebraska to Adam and Anna (Sauer) Buxbaum. He grew up in the Bayard, Nebraska area. He farmed in Nebraska until going to work for Great Western Sugar Factory as a crane operator in Goodland Kansas. He married Arlene Heinze on February 20, 1971 in Windsor, Colorado. Mr. Buxbaum retired in 1985 and moved to Greeley. He enjoyed gardening and working on cars. He played the hammered dulcimer, performing in community parades and private events.

He was a member of the Greeley Moose Lodge.

Mr. Buxbaum died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at North Colorado Medical Center.

Survivors: His wife, Arlene Buxbaum of Greeley; sons, Reinhold M. Buxbaum of Danielson, CT, Paul Buxbaum of Sidney, Australia, Doug Buxbaum of Scottsdale, AZ, Brent Buxbaum and wife Julie of Thornton, CO; daughter, Boni Turman and husband Charles of Westminster, CO; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Alma Abel of Sacramento, CA, Dorothy Nuss of Sterling, CO, Violet Frank of Billings, MT; brother Robert Buxbaum and wife Nora of Las Vegas, NV.

Preceded in death by: His parents.

Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2007 at Bethel Lutheran Church 328 Walnut, Windsor, CO 80550

Visitation: 300 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Adamson West Chapel.

Interment: Lakeveiw Cemetery, Windsor, Colorado.
