Kent Nischwitz Injuries Fatal
Kent Nischwitz, 19, 225 W. "H" St., died this morning in Wood River Township Hospital of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Edwardsville Thursday.
He was employed at Home Nursery. Born in Alton on Nov. 30, 1954, he was the son of Clem Nischwitz Jr. and Beverly Feezel Nischwitz of Edwardsville. Both survive.
Also surviving are a brother, Mark Nischwitz, and a sister, Mrs. Fred (Donna) Roniger, both of Edwardsville, his fiancee, Melanie Bode of Edwardsville, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Clem Nischwitz Sr. of Edwardsville, maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Dale Feezel of Danville, and a great-grand mother, Mrs. Catherine Kovanda of Edwardsville.
Mr. Nischwitz was a member of Eden United Church of Christ.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Pletcher Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Alan J. Dempsey, pastor of Eden United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.

Pallbearers for the funeral of Kent Nischwitz, 19, held Thursday in the Pletcher Funeral Home, were Ted Spitze, Mike Wisnasky, Ralph Bode Jr., Glenan Ranek, Kevin McCoy and Mark Lebegue. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Lueck, Dan Gremand, Kevin Cook, Kurt Stunkel, Mike Pulliam and Ollie Werner. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
