James Randall "Randy" Allen entered eternal life on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at the age of 68 years. He was born on July 14, 1955 in Houston, Texas to his parents, Barney Joe Allen and Peggy Campbell Allen.

Randy was a 1974 graduate of Aldine High School in Houston and received his business degree from San Jacinto College. Randy was a retired supervisor for Coca-Cola working in the Conroe and Bryan area. After his retirement, he spent his days working on the family ranch. He was resident of Robertson County for almost 30 years and lived in Pinehurst and Crystal Beach from 2005-2020 before returning home to Franklin. Randy was of the Christian faith.

Randy was a good man and always the best "Pop Pop" Randy always made it a priority to give to kids, making sure they had the best toys and clothes and giving to St Jude's Children Hospital every month. His spare time was spent sitting in the deer stand every evening just to watch the deer, and watching football and Nascar.

Crystal Beach was his favorite place that he lived and was planning on returning there one day. He loved the beach, riding his golf cart and fishing. Randy will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Lipford; his father, Barney Joe Allen and wife LaNell; sister, landra Allen and half- sister, Velinda Lipford Taylor.

Randy is survived by his son, Brandon Joe Allen; brother, Richard Gene Allen and wife Kathy; half –sister, Karen Lipford; half-brothers, James Lipford and Bobby Lipford. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Braxton James Allen and Isabella Norton; ex-wives, Mary Allen Macks, Beverly Lyons Whelch and Debbie Daw; nephew, Richey Allen; niece, Katrina Allen and special friend, Rita DeLeon.

A celebration of life will be held for Randy on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.
