MARILYN A. GELO, 58, died at 8 p.m. March 18, 2007, at her residence. She was born July 15, 1948, in Lima, Ohio to James H. and Jane Frances O'Boyle Gelo. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Lima, Ohio. Miss Gelo had worked at Linde Gas LLC, and its predecessors, for more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She loved her nieces and nephews and her dog Austie. She loved to travel and play bingo. Survivors also include two sisters of Lima, Ohio and Indiana; two brothers of Elida, Ohio and Montezuma, Ohio; 15 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Anthony M. Gelo. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose Catholic Church. The Rev. William J. Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church, the Father Herr Scholarship Fund or Gerad Center for Cancer Treatment, 830 W. Market St., Suite 200, Lima, OH 45801.
