Harley Whitley, 87, of 1501 N. 32nd St. died 10:10 p.m. Weds. in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Sat. in Illini Cemetery in Warrensburg. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Whitley was born in Nashville, Tenn. [incorrect]

He was a member of the United Methodist Church and retired from the laundry business.

He married Josephine Williams in June, 1944, in Decatur.

Survivors are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Litten of Warrensburg; stepdaughters, Betty Jane Clark and Mrs. Leonard (Alberta) Whicker, both of Decatur; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
