James Eddleman, the drayman, died at his home on West Center street this morning at 7 o'clock after an illness of four months suffering from Bright's desease.

Mr. Eddleman moved here with his from Richwood some two years ago and with his son engaged in the draying business, but disease so affected him that of late he has been unable to attend to his business. He was a staunch member of the Presbyterian church and before he removed to the city was one of the most prominent and active members of that denomination in Richwood having for a long period filled the official duties of trustee of the church. Deceased was a gentleman of sterling qualities both in business and social circles and thus won many friends.

His wife and four children, two sons and two daughters, are left to mourn his death. To them the sympathies of numerous friends are extended. He was 64 years of age.

The funeral will occur from the house at 10 o'clock Tuesday forenoon, and the remains will be interred in the Prospect Cemetery. it is requested that those who wish to take a last look at the face of the deceased will avail themselves of that opportunity ere the 10 o'clock service, as the funeral is to be of a private nature.

DEATH OF JAMES EDDLEMAN
James Eddleman, of Marion. for years a resident of Richmond, died at his home on west Center sttreet in that city, about 5:00 o'clock Monday morning. He had been a sufferer for some months from Bright's Disease and it was finally the cause of his death.

Mr. Edelman and family moved to Marion from this place about two years ago where he and his son have been engaged in the draying business. He was highly respected in that city, the same could be said of him and his family while they lived in Richwood. The Marion Star, in noticing his death says:

"He was a staunch member of the Presbyterian Church and before he removed to this city was one of the most prominent and active members of that denomination in Richwood, having for a long period filled the official duties of trustee of the church. Deceased was a gentleman of sterling qualities both in business and social circles and thus won many friends. His wife and four children, two sons and two daughters, are left to mourn his death. To them the sympathies of numerous friends are extended."

The funeral occurred at the house Tuesday morning and the remains were interred in the cemetery at Prospect. Mr. Eddleman was 64 years of age. By his death the church has lost a life-long friend, his family a kind husband, and the community one of its best citizens.
