Green Blackwell was the son of William Anderson BLACKWELL & Mary Jane DECKARD. He had over ten siblings and half-siblings.

On 3 Apr 1898, when he was 22 years old, Green married Ollie F. DECKARD. She was only 13 years old at the time. The marriage was short lived. By 1900 they had separated and by early 1903 Green had remarried.

Green's second wife wasMrs. Rebecca Catherine (CLARK) MITCHELL, a widow with five children from her previous marriages. The were married 14 Jan 1903, when Green was 27 years old and Mrs. MITCHELL was 41. This marriage lasted longer, but also ended in divorce.

On 13 Sep 1916, Green married Mrs. Lillie Viola (LINGLE) MILLER. Green and Lillie were both 41. It was the third marriage for both. This marriage would last another 41 years.

Throughout Green's life he was a farmer. He owned a farm in Morgan County not far from the farms of Lillie's mother and brother Crawford. Green and Lillie lived there most of the rest of their lives.

Lillie died in 1956 at the age of 81. Green died two years later, aged 83.

Green and Lillie had no children.
