Frederick H. Winfindale, 64, of Mountain Road, Harrisburg died Friday, October 30, 2009 at home.
Born February 14, 1945 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Edward A. and Alma M. (Swenson) Winfindale. He was also preceded in death by a sister Alma Graham.
He recently worked for the Keystone Auto Auction, Grantville, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the North American Hunting Club, National Rifle Association, and a lifetime member of the Shellsville VFW Post 9639 and the Jonestown American Legion Post 883.
Surviving are his wife Terry Morningwake; children Kim R. King of Ohio, Harry J. Morningwake of Grantville, Dwayne M. Morningwake of Harrisburg, Frederick H. Hein of Harrisburg, and Ross A. Hein of Enola; siblings William E. Winfindale of Dillsburg, Donald A. Winfindale of Lancaster, Richard H. Winfindale of Grantville, Norman T. Winfindale of Hummelstown, Carole McCorkel of Hershey, Jean L. Benedict of Shellsville; grandchildren William L. Kautz, Bradley A. Divel, Casey E. Divel, Amanda E. Divel all of Ohio, Dameyn M. Morningwake, Cheyenne J. Morningwake, and Dakota M. Morningwake all of Grantville.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville preceded by a viewing from 9:30 AM. Interment, with military honors provided by Shellsville VFW, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
