Death occurred at: 05:45pm Saturday, 1 September 1984 at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Hospital in Seattle from the AML Leukemia coming back 200% stronger than what Joyce's initial diagnosis was. The disease had turned very aggressive and there was no way to contain it or slow it down. Them medical team made the decision to "break the bubble" since there was really nothing more medically that could potentially save her life. The doctors came her about 4-8 days to live at this point. Hope for a religious miracle had faded. At this point we could hug, touch and kiss her without wearing protective gear. There are was no longer a concern that we could make her sick and cause her recovery detriment.

Gravesite Details
The grave/plot is located in The Garden of St. John which is located in the main front lawn area. The center statue faces west and the plot is located on the west side in the second row passing.
