FADER, Frank R., age 92 of Dayton, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Frank was born September 27, 1917 in Dayton, OH, son of the late John and Mary (Bodnar) Fader. He was an excellent rifleman, proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII in the 371st Combat Engineers Corp. Frank retired in 1979 from WPAFB, 4950th Test Wing Fabrication/Modification Division.
Mr. Fader is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty (Denlinger); son, Craig (Kathy); daughter, Barbara (Greg) Shinkle; daughter in-law, Jan Fader; 3 grandsons, Gary Fader, David Shinkle and Mark Fader; granddaughter, Dawn Valdez; 4 great-grandsons, Juleaus and Gabriel Shinkle and Max and Zachary Fader. He was preceded in death by son, Bruce; grandson, Terry; 3 sisters, Rose, Elizabeth and Mary; 4 brothers, Mickey, John, Joe and Steve.

A Funeral Service will be held 3 PM Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415. The family will receive visitors 2-3 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Interment 10:30 AM Monday, January 18, 2010 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
