RICHARD THOMAS HUBE 83, passed away February 25, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Richard was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on July 21, 1926 to Edward and Anna Mabel Shenton Hube. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Hube and two brothers, Edward and Ernest Hube, one sister, Dorothy Sexton. Richard retired as Production Manager of Defense Contracts Administration Services. He was a WWII Veteran, U.S. Navy, and member of the American Legion and National Retirement Federal Employees Organization. Richard is survived by his wife, Melba of 30 years, by a loving daughter, Suzanna L. Hinton, her spouse Michael Hinton, children Krystal, Heather Hinton and Kimberly Ureta, two stepdaughters and their families; Teri Goodwin, her husband Louis Goodwin and children Kristin and Brian and Dr. Robin Chapman, her husband Dr. Richard Chapman and children, Cole and Jacob, and by one great grandson, Liam Ureta. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Krejcik of Huntington Beach, California and one brother, Herb Hube of Timonium, Maryland. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at Magnolia Presbyterian Church, Riverside. Burial will follow at The Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Richard would prefer donations be made to his grandson, Brian Goodwin, in care of: Be Perfect Spinal Cord Foundation, 2700 N. Garey Ave., Pomona, CA 91767. Arrangements are under the direction of Cucamonga Mortuary in Rancho Cucamonga, (909)-466-7714.
