She was born Oct. 5, 1933, in Lima to Zernie M. and Desie F. Brown Glasco, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 9, 1955, she married Ralph J. Byrne, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Byrne was a homemaker and had worked at Empire Linen. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors also include four sons, Ralph J. Byrne Jr., Clark L. (Donna) Byrne, Douglas E. (Teresa) Byrne and Anthony W. (Joanna) Byrne, all of Lima; three daughters, Joyce A. (Vern) Clark and Beverly J. Catlett, both of Lima, and Janet S. (Michael) Kaiser, of Greer, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Koneta Howard, of Columbus, Ga.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Vernie, Zernie and Robert Glasco; and two sisters, Rose Mary Shadley and Roberta Bowers.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Eastside Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
