Surviving are a a son, Matt (Kim), Cincinnati; a daughter, Jaye (Ross) McCain, Lima; three grandchildren, Josh (Jen) Gerstner, Cincinnati, Zack (Lindsey) McCain, Lima, Stephanie Gerstner, Cincinnati; two great-grandchildren, Aiden McCain and Austin McCain; a brother, Norman (Kate), Wapakoneta; two sisters, Dorothy Pfenning, St. Marys, Joanie Hansard, Vandalia; a brother-in-law, Jack Driscoll, Toledo; a sister-in-law, Mary Gerstner, Wapakoneta; numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Roland and Robert; two sisters, Jane Titus and Alice Driscoll.
He was a store manager for 35 years for Pangle's Master Markets and was a customer sales and service representative for Moulton Gas for 15 years. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church where he was an usher and a greeter. He was a 48 year member of the Cridersville Lions Club, had been a Volunteer at St. Rita's Medical Center Same Day Surgery Unit for 10 years, had been a Junior Achievement Adviser, Co-Chairman for the Grocery Industry for United Way and was an honorary Girl Scout.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Charles Catholic Church.
