Son of T.W. and Alice Seymour Deere.
Married Vera Eloise Stewart on Feb. 21, 1914 in Morgan County.
She was the daughter of J.W.T.and Ella Jane Tandy Stewart.

Survived by two daughters: Roberta Deere of Tucson, AZ and Mrs. Corena Oxley of Columbus; and a sister, Ida Deere.

Despondent over ill health, he committed suicide at his home on 333 South Diamond Street in Jacksonville.
