He was the son of Charley and Bertha (Mullins) King. On Jan 12, 2005, he married Debra K. Terflinger, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Eric, Wapakoneta and Matthew (Allison), Toledo; a daughter, Teresa (Gary) Clark, Wapakoneta; a step-son, Adam (Jess) Huebner, Wapakoneta; six grandchildren, Natalie Limbert, Adam (Rebecca) Limbert, Sydney and Ethan Epperson and Annabel and Caroline Epperson; two step-grandchildren, Kaleb and Kayley Huebner; a great grandson, Brandon Limbert-Caudill and siblings, Frank King, Avie (Robert) Tabler and David (Jackie) Billiter.
Deceased are a son, Jay; a daughter, Rena Epperson; and a sister, Rose Blackburn.
He retired in 2004 as a tool and die maker at Koneta Rubber, Wapakoneta, after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie 691 and the VFW Post 8445, Auxiliary, both of Wapakoneta. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed landscaping and gardening. He was an avid college basketball fan, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Duke Bluedevils.
Funeral services are at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Patrick Sloneker, officiating.
