Lea went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday at his home with his family all at his side.

Services were held at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Tuesday March 29, 2011 with Reverend Marvin Herman officiating.

Lea was born to Edward and Pearl Louise (Maves) Judd. He obtained 11 years of education before marrying the love of his life Evelyn Casemore on July 27, 1946 at the Juddville United Methodist Church.

Lea enjoyed being an Associate Member of the Bristol United Methodist Church in Flint, Michigan and also a member of the Juddville United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed farming his family farm. Lea worked with GM V-8 Plant and retired after 34 years of service. He was a very active member of the UAW Local #659 for retirees.

Lea had a lot of love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar whether for teaching his children or simply playing alongside his wife. He and his wife also loved line dancing with the Corunna Country Kickers. Most of all, Lea loved spending time with his family and always looked forward to family get-togethers and going to the family cabin.

Lea is survived by his wife of 64 years, Evelyn Elaine; daughter, Nancy (Kenneth) Sealey; sons Brian (Wanda) Judd, Michael (Bonnie) Judd, and Larry (Divine-Melissa) Judd; seven grandchildren Heather (Charles) Barkley, Greg (Vicki) Sealey, Joshua Judd (Stacey Lambries), Jennifer Judd, Nichole (Scott) Saxton, Kevin (Stephanie) Judd, Jessica Judd; great-grandchildren Rilee, Camus, Aries, Logan, Connor, Carson, McKenzie, Christian; brother Stanton (Evelyn) Judd; sister Beth (Robert) Michels; as well as several nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bristol United Methodist Church, the Juddville United Methodist Church or Home Care Hospice.
