Marguerite M. Theis, 87, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at Birchaven Heights, Findlay.

She was born Feb. 20, 1924, in Tiffin, to August and Viola (Coeller) Reinhart. She married Francis Joseph Theis Jan. 27, 1951, at St. Boniface Church, New Riegel, and he preceded her in death July 12, 2003

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Anita Theis in 1968.

Marguerite graduated valedictorian from New Riegel High School in 1942. She was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, and formerly a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, for many years. She worked in the parts department at Sears, Tiffin, for several years. Marguerite was a seamstress and enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter

Marguerite M. Theis, 87, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Birchaven Heights in Findlay, Ohio.

On February 20, 1924, in Tiffin, Ohio, she was born to August and Viola (Coeller) Reinhart. On January 27, 1951 in St. Boniface Church, New Riegel, she married Francis Joseph Theis and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2003.

Survivors include one son, Roy Theis of Tiffin, Ohio; three daughters, Irene (Chris) Sours of New Riegel, Ohio, Shirley Feck of Findlay, Ohio and Susan (Cameron) Dorey of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; one sister, Dolores (Clarence) Hemminger of New Riegel, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Alicia (Sean) Webber, Josh (Amber Wrenn) Sours, Jake Sours, Ashley and Michaela Theis, Jonathan Feck and David and Andrew Dorey; and one great-grandchild, Madison Sours.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Anita Theis in 1968.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Parish in New Riegel, Ohio with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 7:45 p.m.
