Ulric Desjardins, son of Samuel Desjardins and Marie Lussier, was born and baptized on 1 Jan 1880 at Saint Janvier in Weedon, Québec, Canada. He immigrated as an infant with his family to the United States, arriving on 20 Jun 1881 in Lewiston, Androscoggin, Maine, where his family settled. Ulric was naturalized on 18 May 1901. He married Celina Breton, daughter of Ferdinand Breton and Marie Tanguay, at Saint Peter's Church in Lewiston on 23 May 1904. They were the parents of five children. Ulric's second marriage was to widow Lea Dupuis Tempesta, daughter of Charles Dupuis and Delina Lafond, in 1938.
