Born in Courders Port, PA., June 4, 1907 he was the son of James and Maude Jones Patterson.
He was employed by Superior Metal Products and Art Kraft for 33 years, a member of St Johns Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Foresters and Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife Elizabeth, four daughters, Mrs Walter (Joanne) Flannagan, Mrs Donald (Patricia) Ellerbrock, Mrs Fred (Ellen) Ousley of Lima and Kathleen at home; two sons, James C of Bluffton, and William at home, three sisters, Mrs Fred (Mary) Phalen, of Lima, Mrs Edward W (Kate) Freuh of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Mrs Roy (Edna) Miller of Wapakoneta, and 11 grandchildren.
Requiem High Mass will be offered at 11:30am Tuesday in St Johns Catholic Church and burial in Gethsemani Cemetery.
