Mrs. Marie Bernecker passed away 12:30 a.m. Friday after a lingering illness. She had lived in Saginaw for the past 32 years coming here from Sebewaing, Michigan. Marie Schnepp was born April 24, 1880 in Hessen, Germany and came to the U.S. at the age of 10 years. On April 19, 1906, she was married to Reinhard J. Bernecker in Kilmanagh, Michigan. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid socity and also Valparaiso Aux. Surviving besides her husband are one son and four daughters: Ralph Bernecker, Troy, Ohio; Mrs. Eugene W. Foehl, Saginaw;, Mrs. George M. Lage, Miami, Florida; Mrs. Richard I. Davenport, Utica, N.Y.; and Mrs. Carl J. Gugel, Saginaw: 9 grandchildren: two sisters and 5 brothers: Mrs. John Gettel, Owendale, Michigan; Mrs. C.F. Cremel, Fort Meyers, Florida; Henry Schnepp, Owendale, Michigan; Adolph Schnepp, St. Louis, Michigan; Wm.
