Mrs. Pelezo had resided most of her life in Greenville until she moved to Houston, Texas in 2000.
Mrs. Pelezo was born to Beulah Sally Terry Lee and Charles O. Lee on June 3, 1922, in England, Ark. She married Jim Pelezo in 1941 in Greenville. She worked for several years for Bell Telephone Company in Greenville and in Seymour, Ind., while Jim was serving his country with the U.S. Air Force. After returning to Greenville, she worked for Bell Telephone as office manager until her only child, James Alexander Pelezo, was born. After Alec's birth she began a life-long career as a talented seamstress, working with many well-known decorators and designers.
Mrs. Pelezo was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah Sally Terry Lee and Charles Owen Lee; husband, Jim Pelezo; brothers, Ray C. Lee, Robert L. Lee, Joseph Cecil Lee, Hubert L. Lee, Jack V. Lee, James T. Lee and John W. Lee; and sister, Mary Frances Lee.
She is survived by her son, James Alexander Pelezo and daughter-in-law, Martha Coleman Pelezo of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Susan Pelezo, Elizabeth Pelezo, and Jimmy Pelezo (Christie), and great-grandson, Alec Pelezo, all of Houston, Texas; brother, Charles O. Lee, Jr. of Leland; sisters, Anna Bell Lee Stewart and Betty Lee Freshour of Seymour, Ind.; one special sister-in-law, Margaret Lee Chandler; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews who adored her and will all miss her love for family and her kind and generous spirit.
She encouraged and helped all her family become better than we were and she loved us all.
