He was born March 12, 1942 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Willard F. Storer and Jane Freelove Andrus Storer. He attended O.E. Bell Jr. High, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He continued his education at the University of Idaho, Idaho State University and Weber State.
Mick was an electrical engineer of instrumentation and control for 30 years. He traveled across the states and in foreign countries as a field engineer during some of that time and retired from the I.N.L. in 2001.
He married JoAnn Marie Jorgensen on June 6, 1964 in Idaho Falls, Idaho and together they raised 5 children.
Mick was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he sang in the choir and enjoyed playing church basketball.
He was active in Jaycees, Russet Lions Club and he participated in the Noise Park Motocross and Stock car racing. He enjoyed collecting steins, pocket watches and decorated knives. He liked to go bowling, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. One of his greatest joys was to go fishing and camping especially with his grandchildren.
